It was over 56 years ago when my father, Don Borror, borrowed $800 from
my mom to buy a piece of land and build his first home with his own two hands. He sold that home the following year, beginning the legacy that
would become Dominion Homes.
I’m pleased to announce that last Wednesday, June 11, 2008 Dominion
Homes completed a merger transaction that returns us to our roots as a
privately held company. The merger positions Dominion with a strong
financial foundation that will allow us to expand within our existing markets as well as explore new opportunities for growth.
Dominion has always been a hometown company and will remain so, with
our corporate headquarters right here in Central Ohio. It all started with one home in 1952. Today, Dominion builds over 50 different models and has
58 communities to choose from. Our priority is, and always has been,
to construct the best homes in the best communities for our customers,
to provide great service, and to be a good neighbor. I could not be more
